ലക്നൗ: ഉത്തർപ്രദേശിലെ ബന്ദ ജില്ലയിൽ വീട്ടിൽ അതിക്രമിച്ച് കയറി ലൈംഗികമായി പീഡിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ച മധ്യവയസ്കൻ പ്രതിരോധത്തിനിടെ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു. സംഭവവുമായി ബന്ധപ്പെട്ട് പതിനെട്ടുവയസുകാരിയായ പെൺകുട്ടിയെ പൊലീസ് അറസ്റ്റ് ചെയ്തു.
വ്യാഴാഴ്ച ഉച്ചയോടെയാണ് മുർവാൾ ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ സംഭവം നടന്നത്. സുഖ്രാജ് പ്രജാപതി (50) എന്നയാളാണ് മരിച്ചത്. മൂർച്ചയുള്ള ആയുധം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് തലയ്ക്ക് ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റ നിലയിൽ സുഖ്രാജിന്റെ മൃതദേഹം ഒരു വീട്ടിൽ നിന്ന് കണ്ടെത്തിയതായി എസ്എച്ച്ഒ രാജേന്ദ്ര സിംഗ് രജാവത് പറഞ്ഞു.
ബന്ധുക്കളുടെ പരാതിയുടെ അടിസ്ഥാനത്തിൽ പൊലീസ് കൊലപാതകക്കേസ് രജിസ്റ്റർ ചെയ്തു. തുടർന്ന് നടത്തിയ അന്വേഷണത്തിൽ രാത്രി തന്നെ പെൺകുട്ടിയെ കസ്റ്റഡിയിലെടുത്തു. ചോദ്യം ചെയ്യലിൽ, വീട്ടിൽ ആരുമില്ലാത്ത സമയത്ത് സുഖ്രാജ് അതിക്രമിച്ചു കയറി വാതിൽ പൂട്ടിയ ശേഷം തന്നെ ലൈംഗികമായി പീഡിപ്പിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിച്ചുവെന്ന് പെൺകുട്ടി മൊഴി നൽകി.
പ്രതിരോധിക്കാൻ ശ്രമിക്കുന്നതിനിടെ സമീപത്ത് ഉണ്ടായിരുന്ന മഴു പോലുള്ള ആയുധം ഉപയോഗിച്ച് തലയ്ക്ക് അടിക്കുകയായിരുന്നുവെന്നും പെൺകുട്ടി പറഞ്ഞു. സംഭവത്തിൽ ഉപയോഗിച്ചതായി പറയുന്ന ആയുധം പൊലീസ് കണ്ടെടുത്തു. കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ട സുഖ്രാജ് പെൺകുട്ടിയുടെ അയൽവാസിയാണെന്നും പൊലീസ് അറിയിച്ചു.
